Its two-mile long sweep of sands line a sheltered bay and natural harbour on the Llŷn Heritage Coast. The beach of fine sand is popular with fishermen, while watersports enthusiasts revel in the variety of conditions – the crescent of sands faces north-west from one side and north-east from the other, creating different conditions for surfers, windsurfers and kite surfers.
The beach itself is something of a hidden gem, known for its clear blue waters along with stunning views of the bay, and the distant three peaks of The Rival Mountains (Yr Eifl) to the east.
We have a beach hut on Nefyn beach which can be made available during your stay. We share it with another family so please check the availability for your booking.
There is parking at the beach and in the surrounding area. However, during the height of summer, these spaces are quickly occupied. The beach has a delightful cafe providing refreshments, ice creams, sandwiches and cakes and there are public toilets just a short walk up the beach hill.
